IFQS places great importance on protecting your privacy and the security of your personal data. This privacy statement explains how we handle your personal data, what rights you have, and how you can exercise them. We act in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Special and/or sensitive personal data

Our website and/or service does not intend to collect data about website visitors who are younger than 16 years old, unless they have permission from a parent or guardian. However, we are unable to verify whether a visitor is over 16. We therefore recommend that parents be involved in their children's online activities in order to prevent data from being collected about children without parental consent.

The purposes for which and the legal basis on which we process personal data

IFQS processes your personal data for the following purposes:

  • Processing your request
  • To be able to contact you, by phone or email, if necessary to provide our services
  • To inform you about changes to our services and products
  • To be able to provide our services at your location

Automated decision-making

IFQS does not make decisions based on automated processing that could have (significant) consequences for individuals. This concerns decisions made by computer programs or systems without the involvement of a human (for example, an IFQS employee).

How long we retain personal data

IFQS does not retain your personal data longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data is collected. We apply the following retention periods for the following categories of personal data:

  • Personal data: for as long as necessary to perform our agreement and in accordance with statutory retention periods.

Sharing personal data with third parties

IFQS does not sell your data to third parties and will only provide it if necessary for the performance of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. With companies that process your data on our behalf, we enter into a data processing agreement to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. IFQS remains responsible for these processing activities.

Cookies, or similar technologies, that we use

IFQS uses functional, analytical, and tracking cookies. A cookie is a small text file that is stored on your computer, tablet, or smartphone during your first visit to this website. We use cookies with purely technical functionality. These ensure that the website functions properly and that your preferred settings are remembered. In addition, we place cookies that track your browsing behavior so that we can offer tailored content and advertisements.

During your first visit to our website, we have already informed you about these cookies and requested your consent to place them. You can opt out of cookies by setting your web browser to no longer store cookies. In addition, you can also delete all information previously stored via your browser settings.

Accessing, modifying, or deleting data

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. In addition, you have the right to withdraw any consent you have given for data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by IFQS, and you have the right to data portability. This means you can submit a request to us to send the personal data we hold about you in a computer file to you or to another organization specified by you.

You can submit a request to access, correct, delete, or transfer your personal data, or a request to withdraw your consent or object to the processing of your personal data, by sending an email to info@ifqs.nl.

To ensure that the request for access is made by you, we ask that you include a copy of your identity document with the request. In this copy, please black out your photo, MRZ (machine-readable zone, the strip of numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number, and Citizen Service Number (BSN) to protect your privacy. We will respond as soon as possible, but within four weeks, to your request.

The security of your personal data

IFQS takes the protection of your data seriously and implements appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure, and unauthorized alteration. If you believe that your data is not properly secured or there are signs of misuse, please contact us at info@ifqs.nl.

Complaints

If you have a complaint about the processing of your personal data, we ask that you contact us directly. If we are unable to resolve it together, we understand this can be frustrating. You always have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens), which is the supervisory authority for privacy protection.

Changes to this privacy statement

IFQS may modify this privacy statement from time to time. Changes will be published on our website. It is advisable to review this privacy statement regularly so that you are aware of any updates.
